Our Beliefs and Principles

COMMUNITY: We believe in and practice  gathering together regularly for the purpose of worshipping God, learning from God’s Word, and encouraging each other to apply biblical truths to our lives and to love all people. We believe in creating an atmosphere that allows everyone to both ask and answer tough questions.

WORSHIP: We believe that God has created man to worship and glorify Him in everything that he or she does. We worship God by lifting His name up in song, serving in the church and in the community, letting God’s Word shape our worldview, studying God’s Word seriously prayer, the giving of tithes and time, and sharing the gospel wherever we go.

WITNESS: We believe that the good news of Jesus Christ is worth sharing in our communities as well as around the world to people who have never heard the gospel.

What do we aim to achieve?

As a Youth Group, we aim to serve our community, learning about God, spreading the Gospel, and developing our relationship with Jesus Christ. The CBCNC Youth Group aims to make youth feel comfortable and cared for, and give them a safe place to develop their relationship with God.

Sunday School/Friday Fellowship

Sunday School : The CBCNC Youth Group combines with the Mount Pisgah congregation every Sunday from 10:00-11:00 at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church for first session, then moves to the Youth room for second session.

Friday Fellowship : Our Youth group meets every Friday at 7:30pm in the Youth room. Most nights consist of worship and lesson, with snacks and games.
